Dearest Birthfamily, we have a full house right now with our two darling daughters (though we may *possibly* be open to another child in the future, once our daughters are a little older).  In the meantime, we do know many other couples who have a similar adoption philosophy as we and who would like to adopt, and we would be delighted to introduce you, if you like!

We are Barbie and Tad from happy Dutch Country, Pennsylvania.  We are a loving, playful, secure couple who are so thrilled to be parents to little Ava (born 3/05) and Keira (born 7/06). 

We are tickled and honored that you have chosen to read our profile.  Much of our hearts is poured into these sentences; it is our hope that through them you might feel a connection with us, and want to have that connection with us for always through an open adoption plan.  We would be happy to share visits, photos, and letters with you as your child grows up, if you like, so that we can share baby’s “firsts” with you. (We will also respect your decision if you wish to do a "closed" adoption with no contact, but we will always leave the option open for you to make contact with us).  We look forward to teaching your little one what a loving decision you made, and how blessed we are to be experiencing this journey with you.  It is so exciting to think that this simple website could be the start of an incredible and life-changing relationship for you, for us, and most importantly, for your little one!

Please let us show you how much we will love and treasure you and your child (see the menu bar on the left for lots more about us).  Hopefully you will see some things in it that show how our family is unique and special to you.  We are looking for a birthparent(s) that feels a special connection with us, perhaps that birthparent is you.
